Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC) Hyderabad

We have developed PC based Data Acquisition systems for NFC used for acquiring the data of welding the fuel rods used in a reactor. For NFC we had indigenized a special purpose welding power source using stored energy. The power source was special as it required high consistency in end results as regards to weld strength of the welding. Our PC based Data Acquisition was first of its kind as it required fast acquisition speeds and accurate measurements.

BARC Tarapur & Kalpakkam

We have developed lot of equipment for BARC used for automation of nuclear fuel processing. These are as follows.
  1. Data Acquisition and control system for Plant operation supervision.
  2. Ventilation control for the plant: A negative pressure is required to be maintained in LAB area. This system is never switched OFF. This system was a retrofit to a system supplied by a large engineering company which was replaced by us. It had 128 Digital Input, and 160 Digital outputs.
  3. Data Acquisition and control system for SOLGEL. This system had 48 Analog Inputs,192 Digital Inputs,256 Digital Outputs and 16 Analog O/P.
  4. Distributed Data Acquisition and control System for LAB monitoring and control from remote Control Room. 224 Digital inputs and Outputs and 64 Analog Inputs. The I/Os were distributed over entire LAB area and were sending the acquired data over Ethernet Network to central CPU and PC. The system was SCADA system with MMI.
  5. Pellet Sorting equipment to sort pellets according to their diameter. Measurement accuracy required is within 50 Microns.
  6. Special purpose programmable DC drives for TIG welding machine.
  7. Welding Power Supply for PLASMA welding source.
  8. Computerized Pellet Visual inspection.

Heavy Water Plant (KOTA)

  1. Event Sequence Recorder (ESR): The product was developed to record a tripping sequence of the plant and maintain a record of various equipment failures in the plant in chronological order. This system had 288 Inputs.
  2. H2S Monitoring System: The system is computer based monitoring system to monitor H2S concentration at various places in the plant. The system generates alarms if the value of H2S exceeds a certain set value in ppm. The PC screen will indicate the location of the place where the H2S has reached alarming level. This system had 96 Analog Inputs and corresponding 96 Digital Outputs for alarm generation.

Center For Advanced technology (CAT) Indore

  • Developed High Voltage pulse generation power supply for Laser application.

Bharat Electronics Ltd(BEL) Pune

  1. Laser Range Finder(LRF) Duty Cycle Test Jig: This has a computer based test jig which tests 10 LRFs at a time. The test jig generates periodic programmed signals to fire LRF and acquire the range and keep the record in a file for reference.
  2. Calibration equipment for Hand Held Thermal Imaging (HHTI): This equipment is a PC based equipment used for calibrating the range and response of a HHTI( NightVision).
  3. Battery Discharge Test System (BDTS): This system is a computer based system which discharges the battery in CC, CR, CW mode and acquires the discharge characteristics of the battery and keeps a record. The test jig can handle 48 batteries of different types simultaneously.

R&D Engineers (Dighi)

  1. Developed Data Acquisition System for high speed Rocket Launching drives.
  2. Developed Data Acquisition system and control for Component Test Bench (CTB). This test bench is used to test pneumatic valves for their performance under various conditions and keep the record of the various tests.

Bajaj Auto Ltd

  • Developed a PC based control system for Inertia Dynamometer This system is used to check endurance and performance of brakes used for vehicles.

Spaco Carburettors (I) Pvt Ltd.

  1. Leakage Test Equipment: The equipment was developed to find leakages in the body of a carburetor on line. The system indicates a faulty by audio visual alarm if leakage exists. Three different circuits are checked in the carburetor and circuit having leakage is identified.
  2. Digital DP Gauges and Vacuum gauges used to test carburetors.

Century Enka Ltd.

  1. Developed special purpose DOFF Timers for winding machines.
  2. Developed special purpose Thread Break Detector equipment.
  3. Developed Sequential timers for Doffing the yarn winding machines.

Current Development

At present we are developing computerized test jigs for some of our customers. Our emphasis always had been on total satisfaction of the customer.
